Mad River offers daily whitewater trips on two types of rafts. You can even join us for dinner when you select our famous Wyoming BBQ Steak or Trout Cookout trips prepared and served at our own riverside picnic area, overlooking the two largest rapids on the river.
All whitewater runs are U-Paddle trips and are accompanied by experienced, highly-trained river guides.

The Classic Whitewater Experience down the Grand Canyon of the Snake River - It doesn't take all day, but you'll wish it did. This is the whitewater experience you've been waiting for. With an average of 12 passengers on large comfortable boats, there's no crowded rafts here.
Go at 9am and enjoy a FREE Boatman's Breakfast.

Smaller boats mean bigger action. With only eight passengers, this raft trip is the ultimate whitewater challenge. Grab a paddle and get ready for fun on the Snake River.

Fork, knife and paddle... Enjoy the upper whitewater section, then pause for a delicious BBQ dinner, then hit the water again! Perched on the river's edge, our dinner site overlooks the biggest rapids in the canyon.
Dinner includes a 9oz. sirloin steak or trout, potato salad, pasta salad, garlic bread, corn on the cob, dessert and hot/cold beverages.
Enjoy a meal at our exclusive dinner site on the whitewater section in the Snake River Canyon. You can only get there by raft, so let us show you the finest dining in Jackson Hole.
